Our client originally had two chemical product mixers used for epoxy manufacturing. With the goal of manufacturing new products, the client bought a new vacuum pump used to remove gas during the epoxy mixing process.

Systemex Automation's assignment was to design, integrate and install the control system in a classified area.

We performed the electrical and mechanical design, as well as the supervision of the electrical installation work (Dawcoelectric) and the piping (L.E.S. Méchanique) in order to connect the appropriate explosion-proof components.

The client's requirements evolved over the course of the project, as at the beginning only one of the mixers was to be linked to the pump. Systemex Automation worked in conjunction with the client to develop a solution that really met their needs.
